FRANCE

From good old Kent to Roujan (south west France) over four days' gentle driving.

Then stay with Jan & Gary for a few days' rest.

Then drive towards Italy and onward....

On the road at last.

We were due to set sail in R10FFN, our trusty BMW 6 series convertible with a number plate designed to remind us of who paid for the trip.

With its massive boot which holds the equivalent of two check in suitcases and two carry on suitcases, that should be enough for two surely!!

We would have gone earlier if it was not for Sara falling a bit sick, and Brian attempting to buy a 102 acre woodland between Friday and Monday.  He failed in the attempt, sadly.

The plan was to take a leisurely few days to drive down to stay with Jan and Gary (Grandma Jan and Grandpa Gary to give them their official titles) in Roujan, near Montpellier, in the south west of France for a few days, and then head east towards Italy and Greece.

This is how it panned out...............
